BUTTERCUPS ROOM (9 months - 2½ years)
Our Buttercups Room offers gentle settling, quiet comfort and responsive attention for our youngest children. Practitioners take time to learn each child’s routines, cues and comfort needs - creating a secure base for exploration and development.
Whether it’s familiar nap routines, cosy cuddles or sensory play that sparks curiosity, our team respond with patience, care and genuine warmth.
We work in close partnership with families, providing daily updates, photos and shared milestones so parents feel reassured and connected.
Alongside emotional care, we introduce early learning opportunities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, supporting communication, physical development and early social skills.
BLUEBELLS ROOM (2½ years - 5 years)
As children grow, our Bluebells Room provides a vibrant, stimulating environment designed to support independence, confidence and school readiness.
Children are supported to:
• Make and prepare snacks
• Pour drinks
• Serve fruit and toast
• Put on coats and shoes
• Help tidy and care for their space
These simple daily routines develop self-help skills, problem solving and pride in achievement.
Our curriculum offers:
• Circle time & song time
• Early literacy & phonics
• Early numeracy
• Creative arts, music & movement
• Outdoor learning & nature play
• Group and individual learning experiences
Speech, language and communication are supported through a conversation-rich environment, while social skills and emotional resilience grow through positive relationships and play.
Children should leave us confident, curious and ready for school — not just academically, but socially and emotionally too.
