Lead up to Christmas - Newsletter December 2021

Hello parents, carers, grandparents, aunties and uncles,

With the new announcement of plan B from the government and the new variant Omicron spreading quickly, we are asking that you wear a  face covering  at the front door when dropping off and picking up your child from Edgemoor and I am still asking for parents not to enter the building.

Sadly, my neighbours are getting irrated with me due to parking again. Could I ask that you don’t park on the paved area by the hedge. This is private parking and is not part of Edgemoor Nursery and my neighbours take humbridge at cars being parked there, even if its just a quick drop off or pick up.

As I’ve cancelled the venue for the children’s christmas party, we have decided to hold parties over two days, which will be Monday 13th December and Wednesday 15th December. On these two days we will provide a party atmosphere in the morning with music and games, followed by lunch (provided by us). This will consist of cheese and tomato pizza, sandwiches, sausage rolls, vegetable sticks and crisps (vegetarian and dairy free for those requiring it). Chrismas buns and fruit.

If you wish for your child not to have the party food, please provide them with their own packed lunch. We will also be giving the children party bags to open when they get home.

Your child will be coming home next week with a Christmas folder filled with their Christmas artwork and a gift from Edgemoor Nursery for them. We hope you enjoy their creative artwork as much as they enjoyed making it all.
