Hello parents/carers,

I truly hope you’re all keeping well and wow, what a year so far and with a lot of events on our calendar, we’re going to be kept busy this March!

Next week is St Davids Day (dragons and daffodils), Shrove Tuesday (pancakes, yum!) and on Thursday 3rd March is World Book Day (Celebrating 25 years). To celebrate this, we are asking you to dress your children in brightly coloured clothes on Thursday and Friday. We have World Book Day tokens for you at the nursery which you can swap at participating books shops for a World Book Day Book. The tokens are valid until 27th March 2022.

Its never too early to look, hold and read books.

Could I please request that you send your child in with a coat and when sending in grapes, could you cut them in quarters, lengthways. Also, could you label your child’s water bottle clearly with their name please?

With some Covid-19 retrictions being lifted, I’m still requsting that parents don’t enter the building for the time being. As child practitioners, we are still trying to be safe. We have only had one member of staff contract Covid-19 and we’d like to keep it that way. Even though Boris has now announced that we don’t have to isolate if we contract Covid-19, it could still make us poorly, which in turn, can mean we can’t attend work, which affects ratio’s, which then effects daily childcare spaces. Please bear this in mind if you plan to send your child in with Covid symtoms.

As you may have noticed, the nursery sale hasn’t completed as yet but this should hopefully happen by the end of March. I will keep you all up to date as soon as we know a confirmed date.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact myself, Helen or charlotte by phone 01822 855644 or send a message through the Contact Form.

Keep safe and careful

From Debbie, Helen, Charlotte, Steph, Louise, Lucy, Millie and Danni.
